How salary works on Yepstr
What do you earn per hour?
Your recommended hourly wage depends on your age. Here are the starting wages for 2026:
- Age 15 - 88 SEK/hour
- 16 - 93 SEK/hour
- 17 - 98 SEK/hour
- 18 - 119 SEK/hour
- 19 - 124 SEK/hour
- 20+ - 129 SEK/hour
- Company jobs - 140 SEK/hour
Those who work through Yepstr have some of the highest hourly wages in Sweden for this type of job.
Your wage is automatically increased every year
To ensure you don't fall behind the wage development in the job market, we increase wages at Yepstr every year, without you having to do a thing. In 2026, the increase is 3.4% and it automatically applies to all upcoming bookings.
More experience means higher pay
The more you work, the higher the wage we recommend. As you gain experience and level up, your recommended hourly wage increases:
- +10 SEK after completing your first jobs and reaching level 4
- +10 SEK when you've worked for a while and reached level 7
- +10 SEK when you've worked regularly for an extended period and reached level 9
This means your recommended hourly wage can be up to SEK 30 higher than the starting wage for your age group. Corporate jobs are always SEK 140/hour, regardless of age and experience.
Want to negotiate a higher wage?
The wage in the app is a recommendation, not a cap. You always have the right to agree on a higher wage with your customer. It's usually easiest once you've worked together for a while and you've proven yourself. Read our tips on wage negotiation here.
Change your wage
For a specific customer:
Go into the chat with the customer and change the price under settings. Make sure you agree on the new price before you make the change.
For all new customers:
Go to "My Services" under the "Account" tab and change the price for each service. Note that this only affects new customers, not those you already work with.
Taxes handled
When you get paid via Yepstr, your wage is already taxed. You also earn towards your pension and are insured while you work.
Most people working through Yepstr earn less than the tax-free amount for the year, which means your wage is automatically adjusted and you don't pay income tax. If you know you will earn more than the tax-free amount, you can turn off this adjustment in your account settings. You can read more about the current tax-free amount on skatteverket.se.
