References: No references Profile: My name is Vicente Mendoza Gallardo and I am 16 years old studying IB at Internationella Engelska Gymnasiet in Södermalm. I enjoy going to the gym, playing piano and guitar, and reading. I believe a few of my strong points are that I am charismatic and outgoing, so I usually have an easy time getting along well with people. I am also good at handling leadership roles and I can organize people to achieve a common goal. I am also a quick learner and after I get the hang of something I run like a well-oiled machine. A weakness I have is that my Swedish is not the best, but I have worked hard to improve it and it is always getting better. My last job had me working as a Housekeeper at Scandic Hotel for 2 weeks. My job was to clean a room after a guest had used it, meaning I cleaned bathrooms, changed bedsheets and refilled all consumables in the room. I would also deliver gift baskets to VIP members and do maintenance by replacing the air purifiers. I would also vacuum the rugs and wash the marble figures near the entrance. I would say that I succeeded quite well in my last job and that it helped me become more enduring and focused on working with physical labour. An important experience I had was that I had to repeat my first year of gymnasium since I did not make it into Internationella Engelska Gymnasiet on my first try. Instead, I got into Fryshuset Gymnasium for a year doing the språkintroduktion course. During that year I had very few lessons and my classes were all relatively easy to pass. I wasn't feeling challenged in school for an entire year and spent most of my time out with friends or watching shows. Eventually, I got extremely bored and wished I would get an assignment to do that would actually challenge me. When school ended and I reapplied at IEGS and make it into the IB course. Though I didn't learn much at Fryshuset, it taught me never to waste time and to take advantage of the opportunities I am given, and thanks to that year I have created a good work ethic for myself.
